Aziz Amiri is an entrepreneur who runs a group of successful companies in Canada and Afghanistan. He thrives on locating and developing new ventures from conception to high levels of profitability.
One of Aziz Amiri's primary aspirations is to nurture and stimulate the business community's spirit and knowledge, especially among Afghan-Canadians. To achieve this, he co-founded and held the position of President of the Afghan Canadian Business Association (ACBA) from 1996 until 2006. In 2006 he again co-founded and became President of a new business organization called the Canada Afghanistan Business Council (CABC). The CABC has been a stalwart advocate and vibrant promoter of increased business relations between Canada and Afghanistan and it continues to be spearheaded by Aziz today. The Council actively promotes business growth not only within Afghanistan and Canada, but in other countries and emerging markets worldwide as well.
Mr. Amiri is also a veteran real estate investor and the President of Rumi Realty Point Real Estate Brokerage: a Canadian based real estate brokerage for all real estate related ventures, investments, and transactions. To foster his business relations and stay on the cutting edge of new information about markets and real estate in general, Mr. Amiri holds memberships in several Canadian private investment real estate clubs and associations.
The Prompt Group of Companies is another division of Mr. Amiri's business ventures. It encompasses custom manufacturing, packaging, and assembly.
In addition to the previously mentioned businesses, Aziz Amiri was attracted by the various investment and business opportunities that presented themselves in Afghanistan where he has a logistics-based business. His interests are boundless as he constantly expands his horizons and seeks different ventures and opportunities in all sectors.
Aziz possesses a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kabul and a Canadian Honours Diploma in Business Accounting from George Brown College in Toronto.
