Ahmad Yarmand is a founding member and Director of Industrial Development at Canada-Afghanistan Business Council ( CABC). Ahmad brings his combined passion for industry and commerce to help enterprises reach their potential. He completed his MBA at the Islamabad College of Management and Commerce. Over the years Ahmad has been active in organizations specializing in industrial and consumer products.
Ahmad has over 20 years of experience in product development and manufacturing management. As the co-founder and President of ARIAN TECH, he lead a team of engineers and experts to develop and manufacture industrial products. ARIAN TECH at the time was a leading partner with the United Nations and other international organizations such as UNCHS (Habitat), Solidarities International, FAO , MSF and CARE International for product development and manufacturing of water supply and sanitation infrastructure in South East Asia.
Mr. Yarmand is currently the President of YARMAND TECH LTD. A modern firm providing leading edge products & services in the Canadian Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) industry. From its main facility in Ottawa, YARMAND TECH LTD. represents reputable international brands such as Husqvarna Group of Companies.
As the Director of Industrial Development at CABC, Ahmad is eager to support members interested in bilateral partnerships between Canada and Afghanistan by sharing his combined experience in South East Asia and North America.
